We needed to raise £9'000 to buy new chairs. A sum raised with grants from Norwich City Council, The Diocese of Norwich, and the Paul Bassham charitable trust
Dedications and reasons for donating a chair
"I bought a chair because of the joy I get working with our communities of all ages." Rev Patrick Jordan
One Chair was bought in memory of Brian Mills, a faithful member of St Matthews, beloved husband and Father.
A chair was bought in memory of Henry Harris. For many years a member of St Matthews.
Thanks also for the Chair dedicated to the memory of Jack Spalding.
One chair was bought and dedicated to the feeling of peace and tranquility I find at St Matthews Church. Nick Beale A safe place to be.
10 Armchairs are dedicated to the memory of John Allard, who kept our old chairs going with glue, screws and regular attention.
