Many thanks to Lewis Cooks's undertakers. They keep our coffee morning supplied with Coffee, Tea and lots of lovely things. Thanks for sponsoring our group.

Family Fun

Thanks to our frinds at the Co-op

Many thanks to our friends at the Co-op who have given a grant of £1'000 to family fun. Their generosity enables our group to keep going, thank you!

St Matthew's has new chairs

Picture

We needed to raise £9'000 to buy new chairs. A sum raised with grants from Norwich City Council, The Diocese of Norwich, and the Paul Bassham charitable trust

Dedications and reasons for donating a chair

"I bought a chair because of the joy I get working with our communities of all ages."
Rev Patrick Jordan
One Chair was bought in memory of Brian Mills, a faithful member of St Matthews, beloved husband and Father.

A chair was bought in memory of Henry Harris. For many years a member of St Matthews.

Thanks also for the Chair dedicated to the memory of Jack Spalding.

One chair was bought and dedicated to the feeling of peace and tranquility I find at St Matthews Church.  Nick Beale
A safe place to be.

10 Armchairs are dedicated to the memory of John Allard, who kept our old chairs going with glue, screws and regular attention.

Funding our activities

Norwich City Council has given us grants for Kitchen maintenance and for our work with refugees and Asylum seekers.

Norwich County Council have supported Play Cafe, Breakfast and board games, and helped us with Post Covid Support.

The Norfolk Community Foundation gave us grants for family fun, international Friendship groups, our work with Hotel residents and household support for those in need.

Local businesses have also shown their care for the local community with grants from Asda and One Stop for Family fun.

A huge thank you to the councils, charitable trusts, local businesses and individuals who have supported St Matthew's this year.  The work we do in our community is made possible by your generosity.
